Mission Statement

Teen pregnancy has become a major issue in New York. More than just a problem but, also seen as “the new trend”. I believe that by creating this blog I will introduce opinions and ideas that can help open people’s eyes, especially to those who are not informed about pregnancy. I think teenagers should graduate and fewer should be having baby showers. This topic catches my attention due to the fact that I can and understand how devastating it should be to find out you have a baby on the way when you are a child yourself. Responsibilities come with raising a baby and I think half of the time only one parent is the one who gets to see their child grow up. Also not being able to do the things they like and used to do would be the worst feeling in the world. Interviewing teen moms and dad will give the blog insight about what the stress and regret is like. Getting this information out especially to females will enable them to learn the risk, gain and self respect. If you are pregnant yourself or if you’re a guy expecting a child, I want you to see this blog as reference for you not as a”bashing” site.  Giving birth to a child at such a young age isn’t easy and I admire young parents for looking at after their baby and giving them life.
